Author of “Orange is the New Black” coming to CSU

The 2015 Ed Likover Memorial Lecture: Insights from Piper Kerman of “Orange is the New Black” is coming to Cleveland State! Piper Kerman, author of The New York Times No. 1 bestseller, “Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Woman’s Prison,” which was adapted into a hit Netflix show. Engage with Piper and hear her discuss her personal experiences, as well as, relay stories and insights into the issues surrounding women’s prisons, mass incarceration, and solitary confinement.

The event is Sunday, October 25 @ 2pm in the CSU Ballroom, Student Center (3rd Floor).
