If you’re interested in securities law or securities arbitration, check out the 2015 James E. Beckley Writing Competition sponsored by the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA). The first place paper will be published in the PIABA Bar Journal and will win $1,000. The second place paper will win $750 and third place $500. Past winning paper topics have discussed Ponzi schemes, section 11 of the Securities Act of 1933, and insider trading. The submission deadline is September 18, 2015.
