Get to the Point Quicker: Avoid the Needle in a Needle Stack Research Trap

Wojcik tells of a law student who laments the ease of electronic research for finding cases, making legal research like “looking for a needle in a needle stack.” The solution to this pointed problem? Secondary sources, of course. A good treatise, practice handbook, or other secondary source can lead you directly to the most relevant cases, often much quicker than you can find them yourself by poking around in a case law database.
