Trusts and Estates Writing Competition
The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel announces the Mary Moers Wenig 2014 Student Writing Competition. Papers submitted for credit in law school classes are eligible. Co-authored papers written by no more than two individuals are also eligible. Papers must relate to the area of trusts and estates broadly, with any of the following topics or others appropriate:
- Business planning
- Elder law
- Wealth transfer taxation
- Charitable planning
- Fiduciary accounting and administration
- Professional responsibility
- Employee benefits
- Estate planning and drafting
First place prize wins $5,000; second place $3,000; third place $1,000. Deadline for submission is June 15, 2014.
