Student Writing Competition – Legal Issues in Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
The Dukeminier Awards Student Writing Competition recognizes outstanding student notes on issues relating to sexual orientation and gender identity in the law. The competition is open to all students enrolled in ABA accredited law schools. Notes must be written in 2013, and not previously published. The first prize winner will receive $1,000. Possible topics include: parenting, intersex issues, sports, international comparative law, administrative law, employment law, marriage, social issues, constitutional law, and evidence law.
