Writing Competition – Victoria Fisher Memorial Prize
The University of Leicester is sponsoring the Victoria Fisher Memorial Prize annual writing competition. Submitted papers should be on some aspect of women and the law, and not more that 10,000 words. The submission deadline is Friday, 30 November 2012. The winning paper will be awarded £250 (ie, $321). The purpose of this writing competition is to stimulate interest in the relationship between women and the law. Victoria Fisher was a lecturer at the University of Leicester School of Law and an active trade unionist.
