Warren E. Burger Writing Competition

The American Inns of Court (AIC) is seeking papers for its Warren E. Burger writing competition.  Students, professors, lawyers, judges and other authors are invited to submit an original, unpublished essay of 10,000-25,000 words on a topic addressing issues of legal excellence, civility, ethics, and professionalism.  The submission deadline is Friday, 1 June 2012.  The author of the winning essay will receive a $5,000 prize, to be presented at the AIC annual Celebration of Excellence at the Supreme Court of the United States, and the essay will be published in the South Carolina Law Review.  Additional information is available at the Warren E.
