Practical Law Company wants to help students prepare for transactional practice.   Law students, faculty and staff can sign up for free with a law school email address.  Student access continues six months after graduation.  The database includes:

  • Interview Survival Guide – “outlines the basics of corporate, securities and finance practice. Get the edge in interviews with your knowledge of deal trends and market practice.”
  • Summer Associate Survival Guide – “includes over 50 step-by-step corporate, securities and finance resources that give you the tools to ace summer assignments.”
  • Corporate and Securites and Finance tabs include:
    • Topics – For each topic there are practice notes, standard documents and clauses, checklists, timetables and flowcharts.  Includes an Islamic Finance topic.
