Francis Lieber Prize on the Law of Armed Conflict

The Francis Lieber Prize is awarded annually by the American Society of International Law (ASIL). The Prize is awarded to an author of an outstanding work in the area of the law of armed conflict. Entries on topics such as the use of force, the conduct of hostilities, rules of engagement, occupation law, counter-terrorism, and humanitarian law will be considered. Entrants must be 35 years or younger. The winning entrants in the book category and the article category will be awarded a prize of $500 each. The deadline for submission is January 17, 2011.
