Urban Development Law Clinic Fellowships
Beginning January 2011, there will be 2 Urban Development Law Clinic Fellowships. The Fellowships are sponsored by the Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization. In order to be eligible for this great opportunity you must must be in good standing with more than 30 law school credit hours and a GPA of at least 2.5, preferably a 3.0+ and have some experience with real property records, travel within Cleveland, availability during office hours and excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will work with DSCDO in neighborhood stabilization, negotiate with banks and other lien holders, assist with tax certificate foreclosure proceedings and prepare documentation, reports and analysis.
