ABA Tax Law Public Service Fellowship Program

The American Bar Association  Section of Taxation has announced the opening of the application period for its 2011-2013 Public Service Fellowship program. The Fellowship program supports pro bono efforts in tax law, fostering a more fair and equal tax system. The Section will award up to two Fellowships for 2011-2013 to recent law school graduates or judicial clerks. The successful applicant must work with a public-interest, non-profit organization (“Sponsoring Organization”) in a tax-related area. The Section will provide an unrestricted grant to the Sponsoring Organization equal to the Fellow’s salary, payroll taxes, and benefits. Applications must be submitted by October 4, 2010 to be considered.
