Proposed Official State Effigy Mound

Earlier this week, HB517 was proposed in the Ohio General Assembly – a bill that would designate the Great Serpent Mound in southern Ohio as the state’s official effigy mound (bet you didn’t know there was such a thing as an “official effigy mound”!).
