Securities Law: Student Writing Competition

Sponsored by the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association (PIABA), the James E. Beckley Student Writing Competition is a writing contest for law students interested in securities law and securities arbitration. Possible topics include –

  • The Federal Arbitration Act
  • Title 9
  • FINRA Code of Arbitration
  • Any aspect of securities law or securities arbitration.

The writing contest is open to all law students in the United States. First prize is $1000, second prize $750, and third prize $500. The submission deadline is September 3, 2010. The winners will be announced October 15, 2010.
