Call for Papers: International Economic Law
The International Economic Law Interest Group of the American Society of International Law (ASIL) is hosting its 2010 Biennial Interest Group Conference on November 18-20, 2010 at the University of Minnesota Law School. The title and theme of the conference is International Economic Law in a Time of Change: Reassessing Legal Theory, Doctrine, Methodology and Policy Prescriptions. The Interest Group is soliciting paper and panel ideas on a wide range of topics, such as:
- The interaction of international economic law and domestic law and politics;
- Climate change and its implications for international economic governance;
- The future of international economic law after the financial crisis;
- Teaching international economic law: using new technologies;
- The rise of China and a new economic order.
The conference organizers encourage proposals from both young and established scholars and practitioners. Paper proposals and all other program-related proposals must be submitted no later than July 30, 2010. More information from ASIL.
