Researching Medical Marijuana

The Santa Clara University Heafey Law Library has posted a helpful guide to researching the legal issues of medical marijuana. For federal law, the guide points you towards statutes and related regulations, and lists key cases in the area. State sources focus on California law. Finally, under secondary sources you can find links to recommended journal articles, recent books, and 50-state surveys of medical marijuana laws.

For Ohio, you might want to start your research at the Marijuana Policy Project site. This page can help you track pending legislation and policy alerts.
