New OhioLink Policies Will Allow You to Keep Your Books Longer!

Beginning this week you will be able to keep your OhioLink books longer. OhioLink has changed its renewal policy for all patrons so that everyone can now renew their OhioLink materials six times instead of the previous four times. With this new policy students will be able to easily keep their textbooks for an entire semester instead of being forced to turn them back in as final exams approach.
Additionally, the loan length will increase for faculty members from 21 days (3 weeks) to 42 days (6 weeks). This will allow faculty to keep OhioLink materials for up to 252 days. This lengthy loan period should come in handy for faculty during some of their more involved research projects.
Finally, you will be able to place holds on checked-out materials sooner than you have been in the past. Holds can be placed on materials when they are due 10 or fewer days in the future.
(Please note that none of these new loan policies apply to media materials)
