Compare with Smart Charts on VitalLaw
VitalLaw—a research database from Wolters Kluwer available to you through the library—includes a large collection of Smart Charts that can help you efficiently compare complex legal topics across multiple jurisdictions.
You can find the Smart Charts on the database homepage, under Practical Content. Once you’re in Smart Charts, you select your broad topic, then     choose the subtopic(s) you are interested in comparing. Next you select the jurisdictions to compare. The result is a chart displaying the relevant legal support for each subtopic.
An example Smart Chart is the Garnishment Law Jurisdiction Compare chart. After selecting this chart, you can choose from subtopics under child support withholding or garnishment, and whatever jurisdictions you’d like to compare. The result is a chart displaying the legal support for each jurisdiction.
Smart Charts are available for many topics, including data protection, consumer privacy, cannabis employment law, Medicare and Medicaid, Chapter 11 reorganization, and more.
For more information on Smart Charts, see Getting Started with VitalLaw Research.
