Live Blogging on Amending the Rome Statute of the ICC

The RomeReview Conference of the Rome Statute Logo Statute—the treaty establishing the International Criminal Court—is up for amendment, including proposed changes to the definition of the crime of aggression, and the inclusion of certain types of weapons in the article on war crimes. These amendments will be discussed during the Review Conference of the Rome Statute, to be held in Uganda May 31 – June 11. Although prior to the official start of the Conference, the Assembly of the State Parties President, Christian Wenaweser, kicked off a live blogging session today discussing the amendments—you can see the replay on the Conference site.
