Criminal Law Student Writing Competition – $3,000 prize
Interested in criminal law? Like research and writing? Then, why not enter the American Judges’ Association’s Twenty-Third Annual Law Student Essay Competition. You must submit a 10-25 page double spaced paper on the topic of:
“Must a minor student be given his or her rights, including a Miranda warning and the right to have a parent present, before being questioned by police on school grounds.”
First prize is $3,000, second prize is $1,500, and third prize is $1,000. Entries must be e-mailed or postmarked no later than June 1, 2011.
