Weather and Safety

During Spring Break we have had a weather related closing and a delay.  One way to stay on top of this information is the CSU Alert System.  The CSU Alert system uses your contact information (phone and e-mail) to inform you of a University wide emergency notification (for example, campus closings, building emergencies, etc.). Don’t currently receive CSU Alerts?  Just go to CampusNet and sign up for CSU Alerts.

You can also always check the Cleveland State University main page for up-to-date weather information.

While on the topic of CSU services, don’t forget about installing the Viking Shield app, available in the Apple Store or Google Play for Android. It’s free! The app enables users to instantly connect to campus police while transmitting the user’s location. Campus Escort Services can be accessed through the app, in addition to other helpful features. Also, related to safety, the CSU Police Department’s Campus Escort Service can walk you to and from your vehicle 24/7, and can be requested by calling (216)687-2020.
