Another Successful Year of Research Certificate Seminars

Help with Healthcare Law from CALI

caliInterested in Health Law? CALI has a great 45 minute lesson entitled “Healthcare Law Research: An Introduction”.   This lesson is an introduction to health law with a concentration on health care law and is intended for use by upper level students interested in researching health law and policy. However, this lesson may be utilized by any researcher interested in brushing up on their legal research skills.

The goal of this lesson is to (1) provide an understanding of the regulatory scheme of health care institutions at both the state and federal level; and (2) give a critical overview of the features of analytical materials (secondary sources) that you may utilize for more in-depth understanding.

C|M|LAW and Lake Erie College to Offer Joint Bachelor’s/Law Degree

C|M|LAW and Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio have teamed up to offer a 3+3 Joint Bachelors/Law Accelerated Degree Program. Students will have the opportunity to complete both a bachelor’s and law degree in six years, instead of the normal seven. In this accelerated program, students will receive their undergraduate degree from Lake Erie College after completing one year of law school at C|M|LAW. This program is first in Northeast Ohio.

Summer Library Hours

The law library will have the following hours during the first part of the summer
(May 26th through July 19th):

Monday – Thursday             7am – 10pm
Friday                                  7am – 6pm
Saturday                              9am – 5pm
Sunday                                12 noon – 8pm
