This Just In: Legal Guide for Dog Owners

Are dogs property? Are dogs allowed in parks, airplanes, restaurants or hotels? What is pet insurance? What happens if your dog is involved in a custody dispute? These are some of the issues addressed in The American Bar Association Legal Guide for Dog Owners. This short book is for everyone who is interested in how the law treats dogs, in all situations from companion animals, pet trusts, to dog fighting. Each chapter features a Case in Point section highlighting a specific law or legal case. The book would be great for dog owners in general, or for law students wanting an overview or introduction to a canine area of the law.
