Preview of Upcoming Ebytes Sessions

Ebytes is off this week for spring break.  However, never fear it’s back next Monday, March 20th  from 12-2pm in the Learning Commons on the 2nd floor of the law library.

For those that don’t know, Ebytes are informal drop in sessions where you can get a short demonstration of a product, get questions answered, and be entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card.

Here are the upcoming Ebytes events:

Mar. 20 – Foreign Law Guide—learn about the number one resource for foreign law.

Mar. 27 – ProQuest Congressional—a great resource for legislative history research—lots of compiled legislative histories.

Apr. 3 – Competitive Intelligence—Find out what competitive intelligence is, and how it is being used in the practice of law.  Also covered would be resources used in the field.

Apr. 10 – IT session—ask all IT related questions such as exam software questions and log in issues.

Apr. 17 – Lexis Legal Issues Trail—Learn what this powerful feature is and how to use it to ramp up your legal research skills by finding all the important connections to your case.
