Publishing Help: Handy Chart of Journal Submission Procedures and Rankings

The Legal Writing Prof Blog posted recently about a newly revised document that can be helpful for scholars seeking to get published in law reviews. The document, which is available through SSRN, is entitled Information for Submitting Articles to Law Reviews & Journals and was compiled by two professors from the University of Missouri at Kansas City – School of Law. It provides two charts – one listing the submission methods, formatting requirements, expedition requests, and withdrawal procedures for law reviews, and the second providing rankings information. The charts track 202 general law reviews; specialized journals are not included. The information is current to February 2013.
